The promotion of human development from a broad cultural perspective is a subject that also concerns the academic world. In the past few years many universities and institutions have become interested in developing and offering programs that deal with the relationship between development and culture from an interdisciplinary perspective. This section provides a list of structured academic programs with a more contemporary vision of the nature of development and its relationship with diverse areas of discipline such as heritage, education, communications, cultural administration, environment, and anthropology, among others.
The list refers to the formative goals of the different programs and the possibility of shared purpose. The information presented here is true to the texts written by the respective institutions which do not necessarily form part of the Development and Culture Network. Nevertheless, those institutions that wish to join the network can manifest their interest by contacting the following electronic mail: email@example.com.
