Ciclo de debates sobre multiculturalismo

La Maestría en Desarrollo & Cultura ha organizado un ciclo de debates sobre “multiculturalismo y reivindicaciones identitarias en el Caribe colombiano, 20 años después de la Constitución de 1991” para el mes de octubre de 2011. Serán cuatro sesiones en las que habrá dos o tres exponentes representando posiciones teóricas, institucionales o enfoques disciplinares diferentes. Después de sus exposiciones, el moderador guiará el debate entre los expositores, a partir de las preguntas generadas por el público.

Cronograma de sesiones y temas

Octubre 5: conferencia inaugural sobre los retos del multiculturalismo estatal a cargo del profesor Carlos del Cairo. Hora: 4:00 pm.

Octubre 12: “Reivindicaciones territoriales”. Expositores: Weildler Guerra, Juan Carlos Betancur y Diana Bocarejo. Hora: 2:30 pm.

Octubre 19: “Políticas diferenciales e inclusión social”. Expositores: Claudia Mosquera, Miguel Vásquez y Roberto Oñoro. Hora: 2:30 pm.

Octubre 26: “Identidad regional y diversidad. ¿Un Caribe multicultural?”. Expositores: María Trillos, Margarita Serje, Eloisa Berman y Eduardo Ariza. Hora: 2:30 pm.

Los participantes en el debate fueron seleccionados previa inscripción luego de la realización de una convocatoria pública.

Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional (Aecid) a través de su Centro de Formación de la Cooperación Española en Cartagena de Indias, la Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar a través de la Maestría en Desarrollo y Cultura.

Apoyan:

Alcaldía de Cartagena a través del Instituto de Patrimonio y Cultura (IPCC) y su Secretaría de Educación Distrital, y la Dirección de Poblamiento del Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia.

Inaugural Lectures

The Master’s in Development and Culture has had the participation of well-known professors and researchers who, at the beginning of each academic semester, have presented the Inaugural Lecture.

Among those invited are: Patricio Rivas; Alfons Martinell (“Policies for Local Cultural Development and Implementation”); Germán Rey (Culture Industries and Cultural Diversity); Martha Elena Bravo (“Development and Culture: Their Institutionalization in Colombia”); Jesus Martin-Barbero (“Challenges to Our Cultures from the World of Electronic Communication ”). These lectures have been possible thanks to the Interuniversity Cooperation Program signed between the Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar and Girona University, sponsored by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation—Aecid--.

Master’s in Development and Culture, cycle of lectures in collaboration with the Spanish Cooperation Agency (2009-2010)

As a result of the Inter-University Cooperation Program signed between the Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar and Girona University, sponsored by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation—Aecid--, the Master’s in Development and Culture from its inception in 2009 has organized different lecture cycles with national and foreign professors. These conferences have been held in collaboration with the Spanish Cooperation Agency in Cartagena.
