Between the September 6th and 21,st 2011, the “FAIR.  Harvest 2011 of Cultural Wealth,” an event that had as its objective the bringing together of the supply and demand sides of cultural property, was held at the Spanish Cooperation Center in Cartagena de Indias. The group of suppliers will be comprised of the participants selected from three cultural initiatives tied to the process of overcoming poverty. The initiatives are: “Festival Costumes and Props,” “Street Art” and “Promotion and Dissemination of Local Music”.

Recommendations from the D & C Network

To foster the application of Article 10 of the Convention on Protection and Promotion of Diversity in Cultural Expression, UNESCO created the educational kit: “Diversity, the game of creativity, dedicated to working with the values and principles of the Convention in a pleasant, interactive, and, at the same time, rigorous manner. Aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 16, the kit represents an innovative proposal in the use of digital technology.  It is available in two formats: CD-ROM and print.
